Have you heard about the Osage tribe?  In the 1920s they were the richest people on the planet.  They were a Native American tribe in Oklahoma that inherited the rights to the oil that was being extracted under their tribal lands.  

They were also dying, mysteriously, at a rate far above the average for the time...
