I attended the Create & Cultivate Vision Summit this past Saturday in Miami.  Excellent 1 day event with various panels discussing everything from beauty and fashion brand building to maximizing your creativity through technology.  Highly recommend this event if there is one near you.

One of the speakers on the beauty panel was the CEO of Dr. Brandt Skincare- Stephane Colleu.  He discussed "Knowledgeably Challenging The Status Quo" a being an ingrained part of their culture.
