Scripture contains the stories of women who experience all the facets of motherhood, including infertility, loss of a child, difficult pregnancy, death in childbirth, prostitution, children born of adulterous affairs, children of second marriages, unwed pregnancy and manipulative mothers.  But God accompanied all these women as their stories of motherhood unfolded.
