In this episode we discuss the Law Reform.  Our special guests for this conversation are Capri Reid, Esq.  & Lawrence Young; Capri was a former NYC prosecutor and currently is the sole attorney for Democracy Prep Public Schools, Inc., a national not-for-profit corporation with 22 schools and 7000 students throughout the nation. Lawrence currently works as Manager of the Planning, Resilience + Transportation department at the Miami Downtown Development Authority. We examine some of the inequities within the government system as it relates to public policies, community planning, and lack of  diversity & inclusion across all spectrums. In discussing these topics, we better assess the psychological impact it has on the community of color. Our ambition is, by sharing our own experiences on how we have combated the inequalities, our listeners will learn ways to continue to advocate for social reform & law reform to benefit us as a people.
