This week we invited Joe Arida from Beirut, Lebanon onto our podcast. Joe is the founder of a streetwear brand called La Terre Est Folle which showcases the work of artists from all over Lebanon, including some of his own designs. We talk about the current political climate in Lebanon, youth culture, and the country’s rich art, music, & fashion scene. Joe also dispels the many misconceptions people have towards Lebanon, and how he views his own home.
