Professor Lexing Xie leads the ANU Computational Media Lab, which focuses on computational problems for understanding online media and their interactions with and among humans. ANU School of Philosophy Professor Seth Lazar is the Project Lead for the Humanising Machine Intelligence project. This initiative addresses morality, law and politics of data and AI. We will be discussing the ethical implications of machine intelligence in the pandemic, and the kinds of evidentiary data that organisations should be capturing and analysing from their own AI initiatives.
