Lindsay Manning is an award-winning journalist, who currently works as a news photographer at WRCB in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She also serves as a professor in the Communications Department at the University of Tennessee - Chattanooga. On this week's Media Makers, I talk to her about the ups and downs of her career,  her time working in the Tampa media market, the challenges of being a woman in a male-dominated industry, and how she harnessed the trauma of a near-death experience and published a book telling her story.
