On this podcast episode we're going over Marvel's ' Jessica Jones' TV show that originally aired on Netflix back in November 2015. If you're like me then I had no prior knowledge of the 'Jessica Jones' character before watching this series. I honestly thought this was not going to be a superhero show in the beginning but thankfully I was proven wrong! Then after listening to this podcast episode let me know - is it "big jumping" or "guided falling" for 'Jessica Jones.'
This a series of me reviewing the first episodes of the previously Netflix Marvel TV shows and seeing if the episodes hook me into the respective show or not. This is all in preparation for watching Marvel's 'Moon Knight' which premieres on Wednesday, March 30th on the Disney+ streaming network.
Marvel's Jessica Jones
A chronicle of the life of one of the darker Marvel characters, the mysterious Jessica Jones. When a tragedy puts an end to her short-lived career as a superhero, Jessica settles in New York City and opens her own detective agency, called Alias Investigations, which seems to be called into cases involving people who have special abilities. Suffering from post-traumatic stress syndrome, Jessica wants to do good, but her primary interest isn't in saving the world, it's saving her apartment and getting through each day. Based on a graphic novel intended for adults, this is not a superhero story for the kids.
