Creatives go through a lot of stress. It doesn’t matter if you’re trying to make a name for yourself or are well-established in the field. There will always be bills to pay, a fridge to fill, and deadlines to meet. For budding creatives, it’s especially difficult to balance everything when there’s the constant nagging of, “Am I even going to make it?” The constant failure and rejection can easily lead to depression, anxiety, self-doubt, and worst of all, quitting.
In this episode, youth counselor Ryan Ng provides a few ways creatives can administer proper self-care. We go into depression, coping with rejection, and a couple ways to support those struggling with mental illnesses.
