In this episode, Jade talks to Professor Geeta Menon, consultant ophthalmic surgeon at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust in Surrey, England. Professor Menon was appointed a postgraduate Dean for NHS England in 2018. Jane and Geeta talk about Geeta’s extraordinary medical career, which has spanned both India and the UK. Geeta shares her thoughts on why she chose a medical career, the transition from working in India to the UK, her experience of discrimination and how to deal with people who think you are not good enough.
