Episode 7 - Revealed Exhibition 2020: New and Emerging WA Aboriginal Artists. A Conversation with Natalie Davey and Jessica Jubb

Listen Later

The Revealed Exhibition, currently open at Fremantle Arts Centre, showcases over 100 of the best new and emerging Aboriginal artists from Western Australia’s remote and regional art centres, as well as independent and Noongar artists from metropolitan Perth and the South West.

In this episode, Revealed coordinator Katherine Wilkinson speaks with jewellery maker and Revealed artist Natalie Davey from Mankaja Arts in Fitzroy Crossing and Perth jeweller Jessica Jubb. Both artists create work inspired by the natural environment they live in and were able to swap creative ideas while Jubb, a non Aboriginal artist, lived and worked in Fitzroy Crossing.

Revealed is showing at Fremantle Arts Centre until Sunday July 26.
