This episode is part of an organic conversation that started when Frankie, Cheri and Rachel were recording Chapter 4 of Frankie's book "The Man, He's Stupid, And The Girl, She's So Bitch: Relationship Wisdom from My Chaldean Mother." In this portion Cheri was explaining it's okay when it comes to gifts to just tell your spouse what you want to take the pressure off of each other. Frankie explains she has friends or the jeweler make suggestions to her husband regarding what gifts she wants. Rachel's conundrum is her husband doesn't like holidays and has treated gifts like an afterthought sometimes because he has often felt like whatever he HAS given was not good enough in Rachel's eyes. Engineer Johnnie explains it's the pressure that is too much and he'd rather know what his wife wants. Frankie says Rachel needs to change the tone when she explains her expectations for gifts from her husband. Cheri says just have an honest conversation without judgement about how you each feel to make it easier for everyone.
