In episode #7 we sit down with Travis Owens. Travis is a Bowmanville ON native and grew up playing in the same league as myself. I had the pleasure of getting to play with Travis for a few seasons.

Travis had a stop at Niagara County Community College before transferring and finding a home in North Carolina at Wake Technical Community College. After a successful season there he continued his playing career at Mars Hill University.

Travis’ journey is one many Canadians don’t get to experience. He battled injury, the transfer process and was able to forge a successful collegiate baseball career, something uncommon for Canadian kids.
