Fans of Stranger Things may notice the similarities between the fourth season of the show and the real story of the West Memphis 3. Those who love the character Eddie Munson may know that he was modeled after Damien Echols. If you know the story of the West Memphis 3 you will pick up other Easter eggs in the show as well. For those that don't, as with season four of Stranger Things, this does not have a happy ending. This is a story of tragedy, hate, anger, and fear. The obvious victims are forgotten in the circus that ensues. The villians of the story are actually victms as well. They are victims of circumstance, poverty, corruption, and the court of public opinion. This is part one of three of the West Memphis Three.
