Todays episode takes a look at a heavily battered crypto market, showing serious declines over the last day or so. I spent most of the day trying to figure out the cause, as many news outlets posted articles talking about them doing the same. For now, there is no clear cut evidence of what caused it, but it seems to have triggered capitulation. Capitulation is when investors panic sell because to them, all hope is lost. The good news is this can lead to a true consensus on the bottom and we could experience a reversal. While others cry about the price, I buy. Other news shows Coindesk released a new research tool. Coinmine, who has Coinbase as one of its early investors, revealed a mainstream crypto miner which could help bring mining to a living room near you. Crypto education highlights an article about fake crypto wallet apps, and I give some insight into crypto wallets you would want to look more into for use. Remember, if you hold your private keys, it’s YOUR crypto. If the exchange or wallet holds your private keys, it’s NOT YOUR crypto until you safely withdraw it. You must have trust in a centralized exchange or wallet if you have crypto in those wallets.
