Episode 70: Mister Miracle #1 (2020) by Tom King and Mitch Gerads
In today's episode we dig into the lore of a character who has been on our radar for a while. Mister Miracle. We've covered Tom King before when we read Vision, so we knew we were in for a treat. This series deals a lot with the "New Gods", created by Jack Kirby. We will give a little background before we begin, but the more you know about them the better!
Mister Miracle, or Scott Free, is an escape artist (just like young Drew). He's escaped from all sorts of traps before. As the story begins it seems he's recovering from an escape that was rather rocky. It's important to mention that this comic can be rather graphic, both in content and in the artist depiction of those events. If you or a loved one have any history or concern over the mention of suicide, this might be a comic series you will want to be careful with.Help is available. Speak with someone today. 800-273-8255.
