Episode 70 - Sony Don't Toy With My Emotions!

Good Morning CoinDroppers!

Today we got quiet a bit of news from last weeks State of Play that Sony put on. The announcement of some big titles and a fantastic classic from the PS1 PS2 Era getting a beautifully done remaster so lets jump into it!

Ghost of Yotei

Lets jump right in with the much anticipated sequel to Sucker Punches Phenomenal Ghost of Tsushima. Set almost 400 years after the events of the first game Ghost of Yotei follows a brand new protagonist with a whole new setting and story. Not much is known yet about the game other than it has a release window of sometime next year. Either way there's no doubt in our mind this game is going to be amazing and a strong GOTY contender.

Legacy of Cain Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remaster

A few weeks back Tim and I discussed a statue that seemed to suggest the potential for a Soul Reaver 1 &2 remaster and we got confirmation the game is coming in just 2 months! This franchise was one of my absolute favorites growing up and I cannot wait to play them again with the beautifully remastered graphics they've done. I immediately bought it on Steam. It will be available on a wide range of platforms so consider grabbing a copy and maybe we'll see a new one made in the future if this remaster sells well!

Assassins Creed Shadows

Not a lot of good news here, Ubisoft has decided to push the release of their new Assassins Creed game to February 2025 to give it more time for polish following the abysmal launch of Star Wars Outlaws. Personally I think February was a bad choice but we'll see how that plays out for them.

Warhammer 40k Ugly Sweaters

I don't get any kind of kick back for advertising this or anyone who decides to buy one. I simply saw this in our news source and thought they were cool so I bought one and wanted to share them with you. They seem well made and very nerdy so I'm sold. Buy one or face being branded a traitor to the empire!
