In this episode, Brenton and Chris discuss his sermon from Esther 8. They opened by discussing the fact that Xerxes could not revoke his decree. They then explore the parallel between this and God’s decree that leaves us guilty before him. Chris answers the question of why God can’t simply revoke his decree without a sacrifice. They end by discussing joy. Chris expands on his thought from Sunday that we should be sorrowful in our adversity but also rejoicing in our salvation.
