Part 3 of the story of Hadassah, the young exiled Jewish woman who would grow up to be queen of an empire introduces us to the main character. Through the words of her cousin, Mordecai we learn about her background, her personality, her childhood, and her values. We then witness an exchange between Hadassah and a local rabbi, one in which she is drawn to the idea of someone being used by God as a deliverer. This is a fictional retelling designed to give us insight into how Jesus is reflected in the Book of Esther.
