We discuss how an “ugly painting” is not truly ugly because of
the story behind it. We discuss a specific Van Gogh’s painting,
“The Night Café.” Van Gogh called this painting his ugliest
painting. Moudatou and I observe the audience’s interpretation
of this piece and underline Van Gogh’s true intention.
