Hangman see homicide detective Will Ruiney (Karl Urban - Dread, Star Trek, The Boys) brings his partner Ray Archer (Al Pacino - The Godfather, Paterno, The Recruit) out of retirement to help catch a serial killer whose crimes are based on the children's game Hangman. This Police procedural thriller was released in 2017 and directed by Johnny Martin (Off The Grid, Delirium, Vengeance: A Love Story).
Co-writer of the film Michael Cassie (Hunter's Moon, No Tears In Hell, The Island) joins the podcast to discuss Hangman. Cassie talks about the process with his co-writer Charles Huttinger (Speak of the Devil, Luke 11:17), what it was like working closely with Al Pacino and how the finished film isn't quite what he hoped. Michael also discusses why a certain Al Pacino film will always remind him of his father.
