In Today’s episode we’re talking with High School Principal, Mr. Craig DeYoung. Mr. DeYoung is the principal of a high school in Dexter, New Mexico and as such wears a multitude of hats. He is a jack of all trades and master of some! His area of expertise involves building positive relationships with all stakeholders.
We talk about his journey from high school and college athlete to teacher, coach and Principal. We touch on the challenges of being a single administrator in a school and how he manages his time. He also gives some great pointers on building relationships with all stakeholders and the strategies his school uses to bridge cultural gaps.
