Solo episode about the power of distraction to make a man wander off the path before him. An old man gave me a piece of advice many years ago that I have found to be true. It went something like this - "Opportunities tend to be abundant around the man who is on the move in his life. A fool believes that every opportunity that looks good or innocent has to be from God and ignores the reality that satan is also throwing opportunity in front of us. The trick to staying on course is learning to discern who put each particular opportunity before us. Satan doesn't have to send a hurricane when a gentle breeze across our path is sufficient to make us wander off it."
Distraction is something I watch for in my life because it is subtle and has been the most effective means of derailing me from the path I want to walk in my life. Even though I am constantly examining my life for it, I still fall prey to it time and again.
