Disciples Are Blessed

Matthew 5

Jesus has called His disciples to live in such a way as to reveal God's glory to the world. God promised Abraham that one of his descendants would bring blessing to all the peoples on earth/ Jesus was the promised Messiah who blessed the world by laying down His life to provide forgiveness of sin. All who trust in Him are called out from the darkness of the light. Because we have been blessed by God with salvation through Jesus, we live as salt and light in the world so that others might come to trust in Jesus.
