Tonight’s episode was a big one as we wrapped up our full 12 week journey through the book of Acts by diving into chapters 27 and 28. We followed Paul through the chaos of the shipwreck, the fear of the storm, the faith that steadied him when everyone else was panicking, and the powerful way God used even disaster to accomplish His purposes. From a snake bite that should have killed Paul to unexpected ministry on the island of Malta, these final chapters reminded us that nothing can stop the gospel when God is in it. We celebrated how Acts ends not with a neat bow, but with boldness, hope, and the reminder that the story of the church is still being written today.
This episode was full of laughs, rabbit holes, and plenty of off subject banter because that is just how Bible Thumpers roll. There were funny moments, spontaneous side trails, and those classic moments where we meant to stay on track and absolutely did not. Even with all the joy and energy, we definitely felt the absence of Marie tonight and missed her wisdom, grounding presence, and perfectly timed insights. Still, it was a really good episode filled with truth, humor, and gratitude as we closed out this incredible study of Acts together.
