Kevin shares what it was like growing up as the son of legendary coach Mike Listerman, learning the game on a gravel basketball court where toughness and ball-handling were built the hard way. We talk about his playing career at Northern Kentucky University under Coach Ken Shields and Coach Dave Bezold, and the coaches who made up his personal “Mount Rushmore” of mentors.

Coach Listerman also opens up about his time coaching collegiately at NKU and the difficult decision to step away when the lifestyle began taking a toll on his family. That decision ultimately led him to Highlands High School, where he’s built a championship culture while also getting the opportunity to coach his sons, Vinny and Dom.
