Why is it so difficult finding peace within oneself? We look for peace away from the place which we are.  We seek it apart from the experience which we are having. We look at our experience and say "no thank you. This is lousy. I'd like something better please." Thus, creating our own division against ourself. You wish you could get away from the experience you are having but you can't. Because it is where you are. You've called upon it. Well, shit. Now what?
