Episode 72 - You’re the bitch, bitch!

Listen Later

Do you like eating food in restaurants? You do?! Are you sure you know what you’re doing? Would you be shocked to find out you’ve been doing it wrong? Well today on Unofficial, it’s etiquette-education time, restaurant edition. Rule #1 when dining, don’t call your waitress a bitch. Seems obvious, some still struggle. Rule #2, don’t be an alcoholic. This one’s a bit more common and most likely related to rule number one. And rule #3, don’t say to the manager, “you know what, fuck you“ for absolutely no reason. Rule number three feels strangely similar to rule number two. OK, class over, now order the beef belly with the balsamic reduction. Enjoy.
If you like John Oliver and have since forgiven him for undermining the Green party during the 2016 “election“, then you absolutely have to check out his recent episode of Last week Tonight featuring Turkmenistan’s beloved dictator, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. If you think Kim Jong-un is hilarious, you are going to love Gurbanguly. I mean as much as you can love a brutal dictator. Given that, it’s literally just a matter of time before Trump has him over to the White House for Big Macs. Assuming he’s still alive of course.
Coop&Myan Are creeping up on one year in the business and almost 75 episodes deep. It’s honestly hard to believe we’ve been able to pull out this much content directly from our asses. With Myan‘s gift for gab, Cooper’s creativity and the seemingly bottomless pit of fascinating guest-talent here in LA, the evidence shows there is much more to come. Also it’s important we throw out a really big thank you to our incredibly loyal super-fans who followed us through every episode, our casual fans who listen once in a while and of course the future fans whom we have yet to impress…or offend, it really is a mixed bag. But we love you all.
To the next 75. Cheers.
