In modern times, the inspiration and inerrancy of the Bible has come under attack. Many leading denominations and seminaries now deny the doctrine of biblical inerrancy. Dr. Norman Geisler stated, “History shows the consequences of denying the inerrancy of the Bible, as was the case in Europe…our American theological predecessors…took a strong stand on this doctrine around 1900, opposite to their counterparts in Europe.
