I venture out of my depression to talk a friend through some relationship struggles that cause me to reflect on my own past and whether failed attempts at finding love are products of our own decisions or were they going to happen.

- Could Pat and Tiffany have not ended up together?...I mean assuming it wasn't a fictional story where they were destined to wind up together...or is there really even a difference?
