Michael led Sherwood Baptist church in Albany GA from a neighborhood church to a regional church ministry, serving there form 1989 to his recent retirement this year. Michael is the founder of Refresh Conferences focusing on revival and living a victorious life. Michael, along with Sherwood Baptist, started Sherwood Pictures and served as executive producer for the films, Flywheel, Facing the Giants, Fireproof and Courageous. Michael is an author of multiple books and a sought after speaker at national conferences.
