Today we have a special guest with us, “Ultra” Tim Davis. Tim is the author of TRIPOLAR: The Story of a Bipolar Triathlete. He’s an ultrarunner, triathlete, and advocate for mental health, 12 step programs, and how physical training promotes mental, emotional, and spiritual healing. He has completed hundreds of marathons, ultramarathons, and triathlons. He lives in the Los Angeles area with his wife and 3 children. He has a BS in Exercise Science and a Masters in Education. He has been an athletics coach and science teacher for over 20 years. He played many sports in high school, and eventually became a serious endurance athlete. He has completed over 50 ultramarathons, 12 Ironman triathlons, seven 100-mile mountain trail endurance runs, one double-Ironman triathlon, & many other races..
