Also born on that same date in 1936, American physicist and astronomer, Nobel Prize laureate, Robert Woodrow Wilson.

American computer scientist and mathematician, Donald Knuth, born on this date in 1938.

Also born on that same date in 1953, American singer-songwriter, Pat Benatar.

American computer scientist and academic, Kathryn S. McKinley is 62 today.
