We live in a time when leadership is often questioned. Leaders invoke the name of the Lord, but is that invocation aligned with God’s will? Many people may say that it is merely a cloak for human ambition?

The book of Psalms is noted to contain poems and songs. Psalm 72 offers us a prayer, a vision of what leadership infused with God’s heart truly looks like. In short, this prayer examines the true measure of leadership, and that is God’s justice.
