An overview of the seven Root races brings to light the many esoteric, new age religion concepts. From astral entities to shadow entities, cyclops, Giants and alike. Will explore the so-called third eye awakening that has become popular in the new age religion.

Theosophy describes seven root races that correspond to stages of human evolution. These races are believed to have existed mainly on now-lost continents. Here they are:

First Root Race (Polarian): This race existed during a distant past and is considered ethereal or astral.

Second Root Race (Hyperborean): The Hyperboreans inhabited a continent in the Arctic region.

Third Root Race (Lemurian): Lemurians lived on the ancient continent of Lemuria, which is now submerged.

Fourth Root Race (Atlantean): The Atlanteans lived on the large continent of Atlantis, which eventually broke into seven peninsulas and islands. Subraces of the Atlantean root race include the Rmoahal, Tlavati (Cro-Magnons), Toltec (ancestors of American Indians), Turanian, original Semites (Phoenicians), and Akkadians.

Fifth Root Race (Aryan): We are currently in the Aryan root race. It began around 100,000 years ago and includes various subraces.

Sixth Root Race: Expected to emerge in the 28th century.

*Seventh Root Races: Still to come, however, This root race will be the last race to appear on planet Earth. Theosophist Scott Ramsey predicts that any sexual difference among humans will cease to exist, and both conception and birth will become entirely spiritual.
