Listen Later

This 2003 dark comedy film stars Billy Bob Thornton as Willie T. Soke, a washed-up, hard-drinking conman who teams up with his dwarf partner-in-crime, Marcus (played by Tony Cox). Every year, they pose as a department store Santa and his elf, using this guise to rob shopping malls on Christmas Eve.

However, things don't go as planned when they encounter a troubled and naive kid named Thurman Merman (played by Brett Kelly), who believes Willie is the real Santa. Despite his initial reluctance, Willie forms an unlikely bond with Thurman. Meanwhile, the mall's suspicious security chief, Gin Slagel (played by Bernie Mac), starts investigating their activities.

The film is a mix of crude humor and unexpected heart, showing how even the worst people can find redemption in the unlikeliest of places.
