What is goin’ on everyone? Leon checkin’ in and we are at it again with more content!
Today we are covering more of the Lenovo Legion Go by covering the RGB and how to switch presets & customize lighting using the LegionSpace Application.
RGB customization for the Legion Go can be a bit confusing since we may not find it in the place that we would expect. HIGHLIGHTS:
⚫The LegionSpace application allows for quick changing between thumbstick RGB presets by pressing the LegionR Button.
⚫The LegionSpace application allows for customization of RGB presets in settings.
⚫RGB customization features a wide selection of colors.
⚫RGB customization features 4 effects, color selection, brightness and speed.
As always, clarity and authenticity are important to the content. That being said, I did purchase this product myself. This means my interest was not influenced by free product or payment, which leads to more authentic content.
All things said… Let’s go ahead… And get into it!
So we're going to start by opening the LegionSpace App which is the hexagon shaped icon with a white circular logo in the middle.
Once open, we tap on the Legion R key on the top of the right controller which slides out a side panel.
We can then view our controller settings by tapping on the controller icon.
There are several controller options here, but we’re going to focus on Lighting Effects and as you can see, we have three options which include 1, 2, 3 and off.
Now when it comes to customization of the Lighting Effects, you won’t find that option here surprisingly and that being said we can tap the Legion R key again to close the menu.
Focusing back on the main screen we have a menu in the center and we’re going to look for settings and tap on it.
This refreshes the page with a right and left panel. In the right panel we are going to look Customize and tap on it.
This refreshes the right panel where we can disable or enable lighting effects as well as customize them. That being said we’ll tap Customize Lighting Effects which will refresh the page.
Again we have three lighting profiles we can customize and this is demonstrated by the Current Profile section which has a drop down menu we can tap on.
Whichever profile is selected is the one we’re going to customize so I’m going to customize profile 3.
Within each profile, we can also choose an effect for the lighting which is essentially the animation.
Tapping the drop down menu displays options of Solid, Blinking, Dynamic Color, & Spiral Rainbow so for demonstration purposes I’m going to select Blinking.
Underneath, we can also choose our Brightness as well as our Speed.
Overall, this works really well with the LegionSpace App.
