This week we sit down to chat with Angela Arnett-Garner, activist and lobbyist. World-renowned Cherokee artist Donald Vann, has referred to her as,“The mother of the The Indigenous People's Day movement of Kentucky.” Since 2017, she has lobbied local governments across Kentucky resulting in the passage of 23 indigenous Peoples’ Day proclamations.
