In 1968, when Anneliese Michel was only 16 she suffered a severe convulsion, leading to doctors prescribing her anti-convlsion drugs, among others. Over the next few years, Anneliese would report seeing the face of the devil and hearing voices, and she would refuse to go near any religious items. Her behaviors got worse and a priest was called in. After 67 exorcism sessions, Anneliese was found dead in her bed. Was Anneliese truly possessed by multiple demons, or did the priest put her through things she couldn’t possibly survive?
