Accessible language – easy, plain language and other variants - is a growing new domain of translation, with interesting job perspectives for translators already now. Professor Christiane Maaß from Hildesheim University, founder of the New Research Centre on Easy Language, is an eminent specialist for accessible language in Germany. Among many other publications, she has written a book on the manual with the full title:
“Easy Language – Plain Language – Easy Language Plus. Balancing comprehensibility and acceptability”
This publication is available online for free. We will deliver the link together with other links to openly accessible books on the subject.
