Welcome to another episode of LIFE WORK BALANCES, the podcast for, by, and about student affairs!
Today I had the chance to chat with Eric Felix, who is an admissions counselor at the University of San Diego, and also a Doctoral Student at the University of Southern California. Eric and I have actually recorded two other full length interviews, but they were both lost to computer issues, and Eric was gracious enough to keep letting me come back to his office and asking him about his life again. I really appreciate his patience. We had a great time talking about growing up in Anaheim, building community at the local library, reading, incentives, choosing a college, living on campus, greek life, falling into a career in student affairs, and mentors. We also talked about running, being married, decision making and its changes with relationships, commuting between school and work, getting back into homework and school, thinking, and a whole lot more!
