After 4 movies with the lovable Jason (and his mother), the Friday the 13th franchise decided to go in a bold new direction and begin what would become a new trilogy of films.

The result? This movie was so bad, and people were so disappointed, that the "new beginning" only lasted one movie. Jason returned in Part 6!
