At the end of the year 1999, a mysterious cult appears in Tokyo. After being pursued by members of this cult, our nameless hero flees down into the subway. But his trouble doesn't end there, as his train is attacked by a ferocious shapeshifting monster. Fleeing from this unexpected new threat, our hero stumbles upon the Tokyo Mesh, a vast underground city occupied by the strange and the mad. Now, he must navigate the labyrinth and solve the countless mysteries that surround this hellish night.
