In this episode we take a cultural exploration of Roshar.  We get answers to some questions, particularly things related to the Parshendi.  And we also get more questions.  

We spend time with Eshonai the Parshendi shardbearer and her family.  We learn about the Parshendi forms.  We also spend time on the Reshi isles, learning that they are living islands.  We find a couple of old friends in these chapters as well.  

Predictions:

The man with the Scar is a Herald.  No one ever said that all the Heralds had to be “good.”

The man with the Scar is also one of the “Ambassadors from the West” in the prolouge.  He was talking with another Herald. They were talking about “Ash” who is Shalash…whose Statue was removed from the other Heralds at Gavilar’s party.  

Dalinar is going to die.

The series will end with the humans helping the “Listeners” to escape their gods thus short circuiting the cycle of desolations.

Gavilar was trying to find Urithiru.

Greathearts are a vessel for spren, this allows them to become monsters.

The Listeners were born in Shadesmar.
