But have no fear because this isn't the only Petition fanboys/fangirls the world over are currently locked in, No,no the hardest of the hardcore have set their phasers to stun and started a petition to force Netflix to make a stand alone Punisher series (Because I'm sure the topic hasn't come up at Netflix at all yet). I believe it was Holden McNeil from the Kevin Smith film Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back that said it best, "The Internet is a communication tool used the world over where people can come together to bitch about movies and share pornography with one another", Or in this case Petition the hell out of everything.
