Do you consider yourself a confident person?

If so, awesome. If not, that's great too.

Want to know why? Because I don't believe that anyone is ever completely confident.

I believe confidence is a choice. I believe you can choose to be confident while also feeling concerned about what others may think of you, being afraid of things not working out the way you hope or just generally "putting yourself out there."

I also believe that the more you CHOOSE to be confident, the easier that choice becomes. I believe that choosing to be confident is about having faith in yourself, "doing stuff scared," and also realizing that even if putting yourself out there doesn't result in the outcome you desire or expect...it doesn't mean anything about you as a person.

In this episode, I share (what I think is a funny story) about how confidence showed up for me in a pretty amusing way, and how with each baby step I took, my choice to be confident resulted in something I never expected. And also...the re-emergence of my inner "super-giddy" teenage self.
