This week we welcomed two special guests on the Stogie Geeks. First, Phil Zanghi, owner from our new sponsor Debonaire Cigars paid a surprise visit to the Stogie Geeks. Phil talked about his brand, Debonaire Cigars and his self-titled current line. He also gave us some insights into what his company has in store for 2014. Phil stayed with us for the duration of the show and gave his thoughts and insights into the cigar industry.
Our special guest was Victor Vitale of Legacy Brands, makers of the Ora Vivo and Tortuga line of cigars. Victor talked about these two lines that were launched at the 2013 IPCPR Trade Show. Victor also talked about his collaboration with Hollywood superstar Armand Assante on the Ora Vivo line.
The Stogie Geeks then went through their Top 10 cigars for 2013. The runaway winner was the La Aurora Cien Años Edición Especial (La Aurora Cien Años Maduro) as it was #1 on three lists, and #2 on the other. This cigar has been talked about many times on the show and we feel this cigar is one of the all-time greats.
