This week's New Theory Radio begins with a special tribute to the late great Chadwick Boseman. Boseman passed away late last week at the age of 43 from stage IV colon cancer. We start the show talking about his film career, Black Panther, and the lasting impact he has made on the lives of people everywhere. This chat features host Nav Nanwa, Film Critic Amanda Guarragi and NTR's own Amit Nanwa (aka @ColourblindPhotography__)

In addition, the Pop Culture Panel this week features media professionals Mahyn Qureshi and Julie Arounlasy. The both of them join Nav to talk about the future of the Canadian Media industry. The Canadian Association of Broadcasters (CAB) came out with a study last week which talked about potential closures of local radio and television outlets due the pandemic. We chat about what this means for the industry, and the new crop of talent entering the market.

Our #NTRSpotlight features singer/songwriter Joyia. She has a sound that is sultry, yet raw with emotion; and has been compared to the likes of Aaliyah, H.E.R., and Sabrina Claudia. She stops by to talk about her journey thus far, and where she plans to go in the future.

Lastly, we share a special announcement about a change being made to the show for the fall season.
