The Northwest Soapbox

Episode 8: Chris Mendel on the Saylor Grove Wetland

Listen Later

Landscape Architect and Germantown resident Chris Mendel steps up on the Soapbox this week. At the intersection of Lincoln Drive, Wissahickon Avenue and Rittenhouse Street is a small triangular park known as Saylor Grove. This misunderstood piece of land was converted to a wetland in recent years. Chris gives his opinion on why this park is important and how exactly we benefit from it. See more pictures of Saylors Grove on the G-town Radio site (http://www.gtownradio.com/content/view/2933/141/).
