Charlotte Grimshaw was inspired to train to become a psychotherapist after discovering therapy at the age of 17. At this point in her life, Charlotte was mentally really struggling after a very difficult childhood where emotional abuse and emotional neglect were present throughout. She talks about her confidence journey from that point, until now. She shares how she has re-built her sense of self, her boundaries, and got to a content place.
We discuss estranged families, how our childhood impacts our self-esteem, how we view ourselves and our relationships and choice of partners. We share how it is important to spend time alone and really get to know yourself if you are on a healing journey and finding your authentic self. This is a vulnerable and brave episode, and one not to be missed!
